In general super-nice if you want to be able to cook your own meals, and have the feeling of being in an apartment rather than a hotel. As someone working there for one week it suited me fine.

It is an apartment so there is no servicing during your stay. You can collect toilet paper etc from storage but you need to empty your own litter etc. Apartment was hot until we found out how to open the windows wider. Overall was GOOD.

easy to reach. plenty parking. safe and secure. mini market nearby. good wifi. next to petrol station. only issue was bathroom light was very dim. otherwise no issues.

Free on-site parking was very nice. Walkable to many things, although slightly longer walk. Grocery stores close by. Arrival instructions very clear. Clean upon arrival. Laundry facilities on site. No instructions provided on how to change sofa to bed. We figured it out.

We stayed in this apartment outside of downtown because the downtown hotel rooms with two beds were either already booked or quite expensive. One of the maids saw us in the hallway upon arrival and helped us check into our room early (for free). She initiated this, and this kind gesture was much appreciated by us given our early flight. This is a nice apartment in a convenient location. It's near grocery stores for those who want to cook while on vacation (or just grab food for breakfast). It's also right near a bus stop, and many buses pass through the neighborhood. In addition, many of the tour buses pick-up and dropoff here. And it's often their first dropoff point coming back into town. If you stay here, be sure to visit the bakery connected to the gas station right outside the hotel! Another plus is that they have a locked luggage storage area on each floor for storing your bags prior to check-in on your arrival day and after checkout on your departure day. The only minor issue we had was the lock on the bathroom door fell off once. But that was easily addressed! We enjoyed our stay here and would return if we decide to return to Reykjavik!
