The location was great for visiting the area, but we were disappointed that we weren't on the ground floor after asking for it, since there is no lift. The room was clean, but the bed was soft and sound travelled... especially with the party going until after 1130pm and the bass/drum was pulsing through the vent, walls and windows! So didn't get good sleep. Breakfast is included, but the fruit was mushy or incredibly hard so not much flavour. It also took awhile for the staff to appear so you could order a cooked breakfast. We had to hunt for the staff, they weren't in the breakfast area. Also, unsure if it was planned, but the fire alarm went off at about 830 last night for a few minutes, but never were told it was clear. Thankfully, we attributed it to the loud partiers downstairs so we stayed put.

We had a couple of nights here whilst visiting family in the area, we had stayed here many years ago and found the hotel a bit dated. This time everything has been refurbished to a very good standard. Found the bar area relaxing and cosy we ate in here as travelled with our pets. The food was excellent and good value. The staff were exceptional and very friendly. The room was comfortable reasonably spacious and everything was so clean. Will definitely use this hotel again when visiting our family. Highly recommend.

Room we stayed in was lovely .Staff were really frendly and made us very welcome .Plenty of parking avaiable breakfast was cooked fresh infact we had dinner and lunch also during our stay food was lovely.The gardens are well kept will go back again.

A nice place to stay just outside of Grimsby. Our room was a bit dated, but it was clean and functional. We overlooked the car park, which was a bit noisy one night due to a wedding function. The bar and restaurant had friendly staff and the food was good. We would consider staying here again.
