Very cute bedroom and hotel. Small-ish but fine. Bedding on the hard side. Great location. The staff is the only reason i'm not giving it 5 stars. No one was at the reception for more than 10 minutes and a phone number to call doesn't help when your phone service doesn't work in a new country. We asked for an extra pillow and the lady said "maybe" because they were unlikely to have extra (bizarre for a hotel) and never delivered a pillow. We went out for dinner and the hotel door was locked. No one told us they were a code but fortunately someone heard us and opened us from inside. No one in the lobby when checking out .

Fabulous location. Friendly reception staff ( though depending on arrival time you might need to enter with provided keynote). No frills room but everything you need. Lovely courtyard sitting area.

I had a really enjoyable stay at The Spot. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Rhodes Old Town but still tucked away on a quiet side street, so it was convenient without being noisy. It was easy to get around Rhodes Town in the evenings, and it also worked well as a base for day trips to places like Lindos, Kallithea and Faliraki. It is very close to the port as well. The hosts were friendly and helpful throughout, including with storing my luggage after checkout, which made my final day much easier. The room was comfortable, clean and had useful facilities such as air conditioning and a fridge, which were very welcome in the Rhodes heat. The self check-in was straightforward too. There were only a couple of very minor drawbacks: there wasn’t a plug socket right by the bed, and the fridge was initially turned up a bit too high, but these were small things and I understand this in an older character property, so this may not be as easy as installing an outlet by the bedside. Overall, I thought The Spot was excellent value, very well located, quiet, and welcoming. I’d happily stay here again on a future trip to Rhodes.
