Lovely old building, staff were very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. Doors were sticky and mould in the bathroom. Bedding was nice and fresh. Our rooms & bathrooms were quite dated, however for what we paid can’t complain too much. Struggled to get to sleep due to the noise from people drinking outside of the window and music going. If choosing to stay ask for a quiet room. The breakfast was very good and there is free parking. Booked this for an event at quite a late date, so wouldn’t book this again.

Lovely room, house keeping do an excellent job! Front desk staff were super helpful and lovely. Really great location. Breakfast wasn't amazing, sausages tough and pancakes rubbery. There was a long wait in the restaurant at dinner for food and service but there was a wedding on so possibly why. The rooms were ridiculously hot but fans were provided. The shower was either boiling hot or cold - very difficult to control the temperature. It's on a main high street which was noisy from about 6am.

Great hotel. Spacious rooms. Lovely building and area. Staff were great particularly Jo who was extremely helpful with us all (12 guests). Will definitely return.

Breakfast was good, but not amazing,👍, very much guest-house style , nice option for cooked breakfast, limited continental style . Pub meals also Ok , lots of different spaces to eat, unfortunately the beer-garden was the carpark, so no relaxing outside space. But therefore had good parking for a town-centre Inn,
