not a good value. even considering it was high season, the rate was way too high for what you get. our room was cleaned only at 5pm, and cleaning was not good at all, windows were dirty. location is OK - about 10-15 minutes walk to where you want to be. wouldn't return considering the high price and limited value.

The shower did not contain any shampoo - just a body wash/shampoo combo which any woman knows is terrible for your hair. Looked like a cost saving measure thought of by a man. Disappointed

With the high room rate, the facility and amenity are under-equipped. There is no desk or chair for using my laptop computer...there is no breakfast provided...the restaurant receptionist gave us a hard time for our agreed breakfast using our coupon...

Due to an upgrade to our room booking, we had a luxurious 1night stay. Aside from that, I would still recommend a stay here, as it was tastefully renovated and very quiet as it was a short walk from the main area of Banff.

We stayed in a junior suite which was a terrific, large, cheerful, pristine room, with a gas fireplace that we used on 2 cold early September mornings and evenings. The bathroom is very large and bright and well laid out. The staff are all lovely, helpful people. Overall, the hotel has a quiet, calm charm that we found very appealing.
