This is a rundown hotel at the end of the Strip. It might look OK from the outside, one of so many old houses dating from the end of the 19th century. Once you step inside and breath in the stale air, you just wish you hadn't. The Reception area is awkward and some of the receptionists barely speak any English. The elevator is old and rumbling. Our room on the 2nd floor was small and dull, with a little balcony that looked terribly frail. Breakfast was OK, served in a backroom of the downstairs restaurant. The general vibe was not good. Fellow Romanians, beware: the name of the hotel is misleading. It has nothing to do with our country, but it seems to refer to the Roman (Latin) world instead.

Lovely city and old buildings and mineral water fountains of different temperatures. Took short trip to Loket one day to see the castle. Staff at hotel was very friendly. Staff even without being asked came to our room with a big fan that made our second night more comfortable as we didn't have AC in our room.
