Great little pub/hotel, hotel is across the road so on its own from the pub, but that pub is a great traditional British pub, fire roaring, real ales on show classic pub food! Great stay, breakfast was perfect 👌

At check in staff member was kind enough to let us check in early. Room was nice and had everything we needed, smelled very fusty and damp though. Before booking, we checked food service times as we knew we would need to eat quite late, this was shown as 9pm on their website and hotel.com. we tried to order at half past 8 and were told kitchen was closed. There is nothing else around so we had to get a taxi to and from the nearest tescos for a meal deal

Lovely old pub. Staff were really nice. Only thing that went wrong was we were given a key to a room that was already occupied. We had to go back and get another room. It just un nerved us a bit as to how secure was your belongings if the staff didn’t check the room was empty first, having said this I would stay again.

Beautiful property in a beautiful village. Very large beer garden, large bathroom with a bath (instead of a standard shower). They provided a fan to partially compensate for lack of A/C (during a record breaking heatwave), but wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if ever in South Yorkshire. Easy FREE parking.
