This cozy cottage sleeps four comfortably, and has a full dining room and laundry with washer and dryer. Amazing river views as soon as you walk in, but this home boasts a three season room furnished with a huge L-shaped sectional couch, surrounded by windows for spectacular views and comfortable relaxation. Outside we have a large concrete patio fully furnished including a gas grill and even a hammock. There is a large fenced in grass yard leading down a gentle slope to the river where you'll find a nice fishing dock where you will see bald eagles, deer and other wildlife. Preferred age limit; 26 and above. no children please, two day minimum. Due to insurance no swimming is allowed. Pet friendly negotiable. Limit 2 dogs and I do have a $30 nightly pet fee. Just to be totally open as I did have a guest mention this. About a mile down river from my place they do have a trap shooting range and in the summer and fall you may hear them practicing. Veterans Memorial Hall and Jefferson Street Bridge are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Gardens and Coronado Performing Arts Center. Discovery Center Museum and Burpee Museum of Natural History are also worth visiting. Kayaking and water tubing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding and hiking/biking trails nearby.
