The rooms are small and have no space for suitcases, so you end up having to step Over your suitcase on the floor. The staff both at the front desk and in the restaurant were super friendly and helpful. The property is at a great location and is clean and well maintained.

My husband and I travel often and have stayed in a wide variety of hotels. This was by far one of the best staffed and managed properties we have visited. They were always friendly, always helpful, and so very kind. I would recommend anyone visiting the V&A area in Cape Town to stay at this location. You won't be disappointed!

This is a hotel of contradictions, room was pretty average but clean and the location was great/safe. Stonebreakers breakfast and special event food was actually pretty good for a hotel restaurant. Had some issues with billing, room key malfunctions, and relatively thin walls... but the staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to try to resolve them all. A huge thanks to Zoe at the front desk for all her help resolving our issues, she personally deserves 5/5 stars. One thing I wish they could fix is the loud screaming seagulls every morning, tough way to start your day. Overall good, but could be great.

This is a fantastic hotel close to the V & A Waterfront. Staff are helpful and you have everything you need. Bus and boat tours are very close and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Lots of food and shopping options nearby, also the Watershed market.
