An hotel in a great location on the harbour waterfront. Possible for taxis to drive to the rear of hotel. All major attractions of beautiful Chania can be reached on foot within 10-15 minutes. I had a very decent sized bedroom with a balcony. Good quality linen. Bathroom also a decent size with roomy shower. Excellent breakfast buffet with wide choice of options. Cooked options to order - as with orange juice and coffee ! Evening dining options very well presented and delicious. Friendly and helpful staff with excellent service throughout the hotel. Highly recommended.

This is a modern hotel which is well staffed with helpful people. The rooms are comfortable, breakfast is exceptional and there is a good choice of dishes for brunch and dinner. The hotel is located on the Venetian harbourside, a short walk from the centre of the town. Relaxing, friendly, comfortable and convenient!

Friendly and very helpful staff. Convenient and beautiful location in the Venetian harbor. Classy breakfast, not a monstrously large buffet. Generally speaking, hotel restaurant is really good.

Our stay at Porto Veneziano Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with genuine warmth, setting the tone for a fantastic time in Chania. The hotel’s position right on the edge of the Venetian Harbor is unbeatable. Waking up to breathtaking views of the water and the iconic lighthouse was a daily highlight, and being just a short, peaceful walk away from the bustling heart of the Old Town offered the best of both worlds. The room was pristine, stylishly furnished, and exceptionally comfortable, providing a quiet sanctuary after a full day of exploring Crete. The daily breakfast spread was phenomenal, packed with delicious local Cretan specialties, fresh ingredients, and exceptional coffee enjoyed right by the waterfront. What truly elevated our experience was the incredible service. The entire team went out of their way to offer personalized recommendations, answer every question, and ensure every detail was taken care of with a smile.
