This was a beautiful place to stay while touring Asturias. The room was great, clean and the little balcony was a great place to hang out. The entire hotel is amazing! We archaeology in school so it was a feast to our eyes - felt like we privilege to a private tour of a museum. The walk to town was perfect to stretch our legs before and after dinner and the staff were all really kind and helpful. We hope to visit again!

It's a beautiful building, beautifully furnished with antiques. Has a lovely library and church and surroundings. Nearby river walk. Parking is easy. Breakfast is amazing.

What a beautiful place! The building used to be a monastery, and it still has a small but gorgeous chapel. The service was excellent, breakfast had a lot of variety, and the restaurant for dinner was tasty. Location wise it's perfect. It's a 5 minute drive to the town Cangas de Onis, where you can take the buses up to Covadonga and the lakes, and also explore the town, which is very pretty. Tons of good restaurants there too. I would definitely stay here again.

On arrival, we booked a table for dinner at 9 pm (nothing available earlier). We then waited at our table until 9:40 pm with not even a glass of water being offered. We then gave up and left to have a drink in the bar. The second evening we decided to avoid a repeat and went to Cangas de Onis town for dinner. Recommendation: avoid the restaurant, which is clearly understaffed as, I suspect, is the kitchen.
