The room was spacious and clean. There was a bit of a moist smell and the ac didn’t seem to have enough power for the room. The room door didn’t block noise from the corridor and should be changed. The door also banged a bit every time someone opened the main door so we had to put one of our luggages to keep it in place during the night. Personnel were nice and helpful. The breakfast was definitely better than average.

First room we had was not pleasant. Very noisy from busy street traffic and sheer curtains only, didn’t help and let in a lot of light. Neither bedside light was working. We were switched for night two and second night was much better. Also on a positive note Staff were friendly and Beds were comfortable.

I was disappointed with my stay at Ottomood Ala Ovest Catania Centro. The biggest issue was that there was no one available to check us in or answer questions during our stay, which made the experience feel impersonal and frustrating. The air conditioning was also broken, and during the intense summer heat in Italy, that made the room extremely uncomfortable. On the positive side, the room was clean and the location was excellent, making it easy to explore Catania on foot. Unfortunately, those positives weren’t enough to make up for the lack of support and the broken air conditioning. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again unless these issues were addressed.
