The refund for 6 nights has not yet been processed, but there was a notice that there would be no additional charge, but the item that was canceled and made an additional reservation (4 additional nights) has been double processed. If you know that it will not be processed as it is, you should have stayed for 2 days without going out of your way to cancel. I'm not convinced, so could you please check with the hotel?

We had an excellent stay at Oakwood Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and our room was spacious with an extremely comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a wide variety of options for everyone. The pool was also large, clean, and a great place to relax. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.

Room is fairly large, cleanliness is okay, staff were just average (not what you'd expect from a 4 star and famous chain like Oakwood). Location is not very convenient except if you want proximity to Gleneagles hospital which is about 1.4km away.

Air conditioner performed poorly. Elevator card key was a major annoyance requiring multiple efforts to work. Loud motorcycles on the street outside my window all night long. No bottled water, only tap water (allegedly filtered). Staff was very friendly and kind but the other issues overshadowed their hospitality.

The room key cards deactivate every day so you have to reactivate them constantly to use the elevators and enter rooms. Frustrating.
