Room was clean and tidy but the view from the window overlooked a building site and so the noise levels were high. Breakfast was poor, sausages and bacon were tough and eggs like rubber Which was a shame as the continental breakfast was lovely.

We had a familly room on 11th floor, but there was to hot during night. Air conditioning doesn’t work properly. This was only one inconvenience.

Room was very basic and the toilet was in a separate room to the sink! Flush was really dodgy (kept going off in the middle of the night) and the tiles on the floor of the shower room were broken. The curtains were not wide enough for the window so no matter what you did, you could not close them properly and to finish it all off the tele remote looked like someone had eaten off it and the floor had dirty marks on! Would not stay again and feel robbed of £300.

Think staff should be more happy to see and greet you .Very disappointing mainly with senior management staff , no eye contact with customers and definitely no smiles. Cleaning of rooms could be better, no change of sheets during stay. In fact one day a damp pillow case from some other room left on the bed. Far too many days when breakfast bar was without sour dough bread and mixed berry fruits.

We arrived to a fab welcome, staff were so polite helpful and friendly. Check in process was brilliant. Room was spotless beds were comfy, breakfast tasty! Location of hotel is brilliant for the shops and sights. Hanover st qpark is a two min walk and safe parking. I forgot to pre book parking so this would have given us a discount but that was my fault for not reading the conf properly. We left a couple of items (iPad and tshirt) and they messaged to say they’d been found in the room, luckily we were still in the area so could nip back and get them. How lovely is that! Should mention kids stay and eat free, Faultless stay, enjoyed every second and honesty and friendliness of the team is great! Thanks Novotel we will be back x
