When we arrived they did not have a room at all for us. They were completely sold out and did not have any rooms available. At 11:00 pm after traveling all day we were forced to go to another hotel for a night and the lug all our luggage back the next day. After all that trouble they would not allow even a hour late check out. Do not expect that they will actually have a room for you if you book here.

If you are planning a trip to Edinburgh, this hotel is a fantastic choice. The location is absolutely perfect—situated just off the bustling Grassmarket, it offers a peaceful retreat while still keeping 'everything' within easy walking distance. It is an ideal base for exploring Edinburgh on foot. An extra bonus is the indoor swimming pool, which was a great feature to enjoy after a long day of sightseeing. I would highly recommend staying here!

We only stayed one night, but it was a really nice place to stay. When we checked in the front desk staff was quiet so it was hard to hear what he was saying. But still very helpful. When we went back to check-in the lady was really helpful and even ordered us a taxi for the morning. It was a quiet place and would recommend a friend or family staying there if they were visiting.

Great location, close to Grassmarket and Victoria Street. The room was nice and decent size. Very comfortable beds. I wish the room service was better though. We had to ask every time we needed something or to take out trash. But our room was never cleaned. Breakfast was good, it was not included . I give 5 stars for location, because it was important for us, traveling with two children, we wanted to walk everywhere.
