A very disappointing experience, mainly because of the attitude at reception\. We had specifically booked a room with a double bed, but when we arrived, we found two single beds instead\. We went to reception to explain the situation and ask for a solution\. Instead of trying to help or even speaking to us politely, the receptionist responded in a dismissive and disrespectful way, saying, “Just sleep separately, it’s not a big deal\.” The issue was not only that we did not receive the type of room we had booked, but also the completely unprofessional attitude\. When guests raise a legitimate concern about something they specifically reserved, they should be treated with respect and offered assistance — not dismissed with a rude comment\. Unfortunately, this interaction left a very negative impression and significantly affected our overall experience at the hotel

Well positioned for both the old town and the Zeppelinfeld about 25 minutes walk either way, underground parking and good food, would return without a second thought.

Excellent breakfast buffet and appreciated tea and coffee being freely available in reception. Nice carpark on site and convenient tram stop outside the hotel. Not keen on the shower being visible from the main bedroom, would be awkward if sharing a room with a friend.

The hotel did not mention that the bed was a waterbed, which is a very outdated style that mostly disappeared in the late 1990s. While the morning staff member was very friendly and welcoming, the evening shift employee seriously needs to improve their customer service skills and the way they deal with guests. The breakfast was average — not bad, but not particularly good either. It definitely needs more variety. The bathroom was very disappointing and below expectations.
