A beautiful hotel and lovely staff. We stayed with our 2 dogs during a drive to Portugal. Best meal of our week in hotel restaurant. We drove up some narrow streets direct to front door. Easy Parking - 20 mins restriction unloaded then drove 5 mins to good underground car park. Next day we opted to walk the 300 metres or so with luggage rather than do the drive again. I had been concerned about parking but it was all good. Would fully recommend the hotel and it's set in a lovely tree lined square

Lovely hotel in great location within Cáceres old town and overlooking a plaza. Lots of restaurants within walking distance as well as all local attractions. Hotel itself is an old Palacio so very atmospheric but stairs to contend with for some rooms if you have bags but staff very helpful. Great breakfast, happy to recommend.

Palacio de Oquendo means Oquendo's palace--enough said--it is a high-end property. Check-in was flawless. Our room was a short stairway up; they offered to carry our bags to our room. We did not experience the breakfast buffet but it looked amazing. Our room was spacious, very clean, and well-appointed; bathroom was amazing. Top-notch all the way. Hotel is located a few steps from the main town plaza. Hotel bar was really nice--we saw Spain's FIFA 2026 semi-final game there. Cáceres is a small town but rich in history--definitely recommended for a short stay.

If you are driving a car do not stay here. Parking is worse than horrible. Worse than horrible. Did I mention don't drive your car to this Hotel? Car access is nearly impossible. Parking is remote, very difficult to find and access. If you are not driving then this hotel is very okay. A three star quality. Most rooms do not have a view. Furnishings are outdated. The painted brown walls of the room made for a depressing environment. The Air-conditioning isn't very cool. The hotel staff is fine, generally helpful. Would not stay here again.
