This hotel is right in the heart of Budapest on the Buda side. It's close to a lot of the tourism sites, and the river is just a 10 min. walk. It' on the expensive side for just a room. The breakfast was not worth it - you can get a much better breakfast in the city for just as much. They serve more lunch and dinner at breakfast time. You are also charged for the water when ordering at their restaurants, even though they offer it to you. It was very safe, convenient, and nice, but not boutique. You can't tell it was a monastery before. And they charge you for everything. Parking was hard to get in and out as they have to manually open the gate, even to just get to your car if you needed something out of it.

We had a perfect stay with friends. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and well equipped. Shops, restaurants, and transport were all within walking distance. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The staff were always friendly and helpful, with a big smile. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this gorgeous hotel. We would definitely return.

We loved our stay at Monastery hotel, the location, spacious room, cleanliness, breakfast, neighborhood... But most importantly, the staff! Friendly, welcoming & professional. Especially at reception, always helped with our request :)

Perfect location , metro, tram, and shops are just a 5-minute walk away. Breakfast is plentiful with an excellent variety of choices. The room was clean and well equipped. The staff are very helpful, knowledgeable, and always smiling. Nothing is impossible for them. I just love this hotel. Whenever I’m in Budapest, this hotel is my top choice

It was one of my favorite places this summer. The staff was helpful and very kind. Breakfast served was exceptional. They even thought about my birthday and sent a bottle of Champaigne to our room. When we are in Budapest we are definitely coming back.
