The room seemed modern and clean but there was a strange bad smell in it when we arrived. The windows open, so we were able to air the room several times. The bathroom was clean, had an issue with the tub drain stopper-it would not stay open. The sheets and towels were very clean.

Heat wasn’t working. Instead of giving me a new room, they gave me a space heater. Nice restaurants and bars

This was a great place for one night in downtown Vancouver. It's right by the Orpheum Theater if you're in town for the VSO, and it was super easy to walk everywhere. Staff was helpful, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable (though the sheets were VERY waterproof) and it was perfect for our needs. The restaurant was a good option for breakfast the next morning as well.

Cozy old fashion little hotel. Clean, and simple. Nothing fancy. conveniently located close to one of the main roads and not too far from the train station. Must like red. It was comfortable and affordable.

Beautiful old hotel. However, because of it's age, the heating/cooling system can only be one or the other. Days before we arrived it had been very hot, hence the air conditioner was on. But there was a cold snap when we arrived, and no heat. However, the desk staff was able to help with a manual change for our room to make it more comfortable. Staff was always helpful answering questions.
