The small but fully-equipped kitchen is open to the living room, the washer and dryer are yours to use, parking is off-street in a driveway, and in addition to the three bedrooms, additional sleeping is available on the large wrap-around couch. We are pet friendly, and understand traveling with animals (we travel with ours!). Exterior security cameras and lighting (interior security cameras will be inactive during your stay; we reserve the right to briefly monitor the interior cameras if we receive complaints from neighbors). Polk City is home to this vacation home. Lake Myrtle Sports Complex and Cindy Hummed Tennis Center are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Safari Wilderness and SkateWorld. The couch was old and worn, the house was not well maintained, and one of the rooms didn’t even have a door. But the host did refund our second night when we told him we were not satisfied and wouldn’t be staying.

We brought our 3 children down to visit family, who live outside of Orlando. Being a beach family, we wanted to take the kids to the gulf for the first time as well. This property is in a perfect location to meet those needs. We were about 30 minutes to an hour from anywhere we wanted to be. The town is small, and very charming. The property is very kid friendly, with toys and a room specifically themed for small children. The bakery right around the corner is amazing as is the BBQ place a little further down. When we encountered an issue with some plumbing, our host responded immediately and got the issue resolved fast. The property care taker who lives across the street was also very helpful and responsive. We will definitely be back!

We needed the home last minute due to weather changing our original plans. The host was very responsive and kind to make sure we were accommodated due to the last minute. I will definitely go to this home again. The neighbors were very nice also.
