Booked for my friend stag. Everything that was needed i got. Good location, parking, cleanliness, bed was comfy, I was abit loaded when I go in but slept like a baby. Staff from check in to hygiene staff were friendly and courteous.

The room was fine, although could do with a little paint touch-up where repairs had been carried out, but it didn't affect our stay, so no real issue. We slept well with the blackout curtains and great to have aircon in a British hotel. All the staff we interacted with were helpful, nothing was too much bother. The breakfast was lovely, with a good choice and great service times. The chef and other staff were lovely and accommodated my fussy need for fresh eggs and I particularly appreciated the good quality sausages - again nothing was a problem for the staff. We immediately re-booked for next year's festival when we returned as we enjoyed our stay and was good value - thank you. Thank you .

Only a short one night stay, but room was clean and a decent size. Breakfast was nice enough and staff were friendly and helpful

Be mindful there are no lifts. Helpful Receptionist (Monique) tried to change rooms, to no avail. August booking and no fridges in rooms (only in rooms with a jacuzzi has a fridge!). Had to request toilet rolls and clean towels and were handed to us at the door. One of the 'clean' towels was badly stained all over. Also first night 'grease' like stains on sheet. We noticed that the cleaning staffs' toilet brush (a used one) was in too close a proximity to the room teas. There are no toilet brushes in the rooms. An accomodating breakfast chef. Breakfast very nice although there was a dead 'fly ant' in my coffee. I have to assume it was from the coffee machine piping. The duty restaurant manager did not apologise or appeared concerned!! The main let down was housekeeping; we returned from the festival in the late evening and room had not been attended to and the bed remained unmade - so disappointing. In fairness when addressed to the hotel, they actioned the house keeping matter immediately. Would I stay here again??
