Had a great overnight stay here. Did not experience dining pm or am, but have everything you would expect with a quality stay. We had hoped there was a fridge in the room (118) but there was not. Otherwise - excellent! 🌟

This isn't a spa. For a hotel, it has a nice pool etc. However, don't expect a spa or you'll be very disappointed. No towels, clueless staff, no treatments available. Great golf course and lovely grounds. Buildings are dated and a bit rabbit warren .Breakfast was extremely average and canteen style.

The hotel chain is called Elite and this is meant to be a 4*. Rooms are clean, but dated. Where mini fridge should be is screwed shut. Desk chair was wobbly. Rooms basic, but functional and clean. Main restaurant/bar is more a clubhouse than restaurant. Staff are great, food not so great. Low grade fried/microwaved and I heard a customer (retired butcher) complain they served rump as rib-eye. Burgers are dry and chicken one, fairly tasteless. It's fine for a night, but be aware they only clean rooms once every week, even rubbish bin empty. The emote location is great, but means food delivery is not really an option.

Clean and spacious room, equipped in fridge, coffee machine and separate lounge. Friendly 24/7 concierge, always very helpful. It took some walking around, like in a maze, to find the room. If you have mobility issues you should mention it before you book a room. Breakfast very nice , a lot of options and freshly prepared foods. Swimming pool good , sauna and steam good, jacuzzi could use a good cleaning , well equipped gym, overall leisure facilities good. We purchased a late check out but got woken up by cleaners at 10am. The check out system should be a bit more clearer and faster, to avoid queuing just to drop the key cards at the desk. You can tell it’s an older hotel and may need some upgrades but overall a good weekend away in a lovely peaceful area.

The Spa was really good, and it was all working. vary chilled out setting. Rooms were spacious, not modern but good and clean.
