Rooms were not kept up with. Very cold and heaters were not working in room. Seemed to be gone very run down. Carpets were old and dirty. Smell was not good. Very damp.

The hotel was having issues with their credit card reader and could only take cash. I only had USD and the gentleman accepted it at the proper exchange rate. To me thats excellent service.

When I arrived to check-in no rooms were available. I saw someone else who had been waiting before me. There were stains on the carpet, the sheets, and some of the towels. The restaurant and bar were closed for my visit of 3 days. When I asked the staff how long they had been closed during checkout, she told me she didn't know.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. We arrived and no one could be found to check us in . We stood for almost 30 minutes Someone eventually appeared. Room had mound on roof and in need of update Will not be staying again

The hotel was fine overall, but one important thing to be aware of is that there is no lift. If you are travelling with a baby, this can be quite inconvenient, as you have to use the stairs and carry the buggy up and down. I think this is something the hotel should make very clear before booking, especially for families with young children or guests with mobility issues.
