Clean modern hotel with some home comforts and up scale decor built in, excellent spa and pool on sight. Although reception was extreamly busy, plethora of Southampton cruise ship passengers checking in, a very warm welcome was extended, no rush or general hurry along attitude by the reception staff. Open bar and lounge area, with resturant on ground floor serving bar meals, similar dinner options and buffet styled breakfast. Large clean double bedded room with ensuite, adequate lighting and power points, usual tea and coffee making facilities. Will probably stay again when next in the area.

Reception was not very welcoming I asked for an upgrade on line and we didn't realise we were in a luxury suite until we checked out in the morning. Cleanliness was basic, grubby in places. The breakfast was served in very old fashioned heated by burners steel trays which left the food unappealing. We expected more from a Mcdonald hotel

Needs a little tlc in some areas... receptionist was more interested in chit chatting rather than helping me out with a problem in my room and I was expected to wait 2 hours for a remedy!!! If it wasn't for Cameron in the restaurant this place would be worse the management need to take a closer look at what he does and the hours he works and offer him management training

Absolutely lovely hotel, comfortable bed, friendly staff but the biggest downfall was the WiFi and the TV, very outdated, couldn't connect to the WiFi in the room or the garden and the TV was very basic, smart TVs need to be added and WiFi needs updating I had to sit by the door on the floor in my room to be able to use the wifi.
