Had an amazing time at the resort…. Only complaint would be the AC. No AC in any of the restaurants and the theater.

Let's start with the fact that if you are not an "Unique member" don't bother coming here. Theses members have a higher status in which you can't go to certain restaurants and you can't even go to certain towel stations. And of course it's further away which is very annoying. Next we have the food, we had someone in our group make reservations at one of the restaurants she ordered lamp chops and her mom ordered steak cook medium rare. They over cooked it and served it anyway and the food as you can imagine was super chewy she could barely cut it with a steak knife. The beach was full of boats about 30 of them which made it questionable if the water was clean. We did have LOTS of seaweed in the water but that's something that can't be helped. The room was beautiful but the A/C definitely did not go below 70° it says that it goes to 64° but it did not. We told the front staff and someone went to check on it but nothing changed. The bright side is the room has hot water. All in all for the amount we paid I would say it was NOT worth it we had a better experience in the past with cheaper hotels in Punta Cana. Would I go back no. Did we have a terrible time? No but it could have when way better. I give it a 4.5 out of 10.

The resort is family friendly and great for children. We enjoyed the wave pool and mini water park. We really liked the spa and the Menta shop. The coffee shop also had attentive staff. The young lady was really nice. The orchestra and 4th of July nights were fun. Now I was surprised by a power outage and no ac for 2 days/nights. The indoor buffet and restaurants were extremely hot. The indoor buffet needs better management. It was not clean and it had a smell of sweat like a gym. I am allergic to mushrooms and the omelet people still put mushrooms in my food. I spoke in Spanish to them and felt ignored. The waiters ignored my family for the most part when we asked for water. It was as if they did not want to be there. The food in the indoor buffet was not good. But the buffet by the beach had better servers and better food. The place has to improve and add more accessible towel kiosks. There was only one towel kiosk for the hotel we stayed at and it seemed hidden. Towels were ripped. The room offers comfortable beds. But the bedsheets and pillows smelled bad so we asked the housekeeper to please change it and they said the machines had been down so they hadn’t changed them. I was disappointed to learn we got a room with bedsheets that were not changed prior to receiving the room. Not worth the price they charge.

Our stay at this resort was extremely disappointing. During our visit, the resort lost power, and we spent approximately 24 hours without air conditioning or elevators while staying on the fourth floor. Because there was no air conditioning, the floor in our room became wet from condensation, and my 4-year-old daughter slipped and fell. She also fell twice in the buffet because the floors were wet, creating a serious safety hazard. What made the situation even worse was the complete lack of communication with guests. No updates were provided, and no one seemed concerned about our safety or comfort. The customer service was unacceptable. I understand that power outages can happen, but a resort should have a backup plan for situations like this. It is simply not acceptable for guests to spend an entire day and night without air conditioning while on vacation. To make matters worse, we found cockroaches in our room on two separate occasions and another one in the hallway. Unfortunately, this experience was unacceptable, and I would not recommend this resort or return in the future.
