LAGOON BOUGAINVILLA is a wooden Bungalow facing the lagoon, for total exclusivity and great snorkeling. LAYOUT: This Bungalow accounts 1 bedroom with A/C and a large ceiling fan, 1 equipped kitchenette, 1 built-in bathroom, and 1 large covered Gazebo where you can laze or take your meals. EQUIPMENT: This unit has full amenities (washing machine, dryer, etc). At the front a small area with sun loungers leads directly to the lagoon. Free Wi-Fi and hot water are included, as well as free kayaks and snorkeling equipment. ON-SITE CONCIERGE: in Robinson's Cove Villas there is a property manager acting as a concierge. She lives in her own bungalow within the property and will help you for any inquiry or leisure activity you might wish. AUTOMATIC CAR: a car is advisable for food shopping and restaurants located 10 min drive away: - we advise to book a Sedan automatic car (A/C, 5 seats) see booking page to book the vehicle AND ALSO the round trip taxi transfers from Moorea's docks or airport to the Villas. You will get the car once at the Villas. Robinson's Cove Private Beach Villas are 20 minutes drive from Moorea Airport and Vaiare ferry's docks. Located in Moorea-Maiao, this chalet is on the waterfront. Moorea Ferry Terminal and Moorea Green Pearl Golf Course are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Moorea Tropical Garden and Ta'ahiamanu Beach. The Sea Turtles Care Center and Tiki Village Cultural Centre are also worth visiting.

Time standing still, no crowds, silent except for the sound of waves and wind in the trees. Away from nightlife, the hurried travel of vehicles taking people to and from work. Easily filled eyes with a spectrum of color backed by every shade of green. It was a refreshing peace not to be shared on Facebook.

Location is amazingly wonderful. The house was disappointing with a broken toilet seat, a fan in the living area that couldn't be adjusted, dull cooking knives, cockroaches in the bathroom, and no exhaust fan above the stove.

There was nothing to complain about and I mean nothing!!! It surpassed our expectations!! The view, the accomodations, the access to snorkeling, the beauty of Opunohu Bay & the stunning morning views of the mountains across that bay, the feeling of privacy when on the patio (even more so that the other two units), the use of the kayaks on a calm morning paddle and even last minute access to the owner's personal vehicle. This is a true hidden gem that we hope, at least for our sake, remains hidden! My wife & I have already promised ourselves to return soon! Nothing.

Fabulous cozy villa with perfect little kitchen and incredible view and water access. We saw whales one morning just a 100 feet away! Alix the concierge was very helpful and responsive and make us feel very much at home. We hope to be back some day! Note that all villas do back up to the main island road (they are enclosed behind a security gate) so you will hear cars/motor bikes, but this did not bother us at all. Hot water was not that hot but it was fine.

The location, views and comfort was wonderful. Ideal for stays up to one week. Staying longer you may want to consider the larger units. The boat rental option was ok, but would suggest taking an organized tour instead.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich ein Traum. Direkt in einer Bucht gelegen mit Zugang zum Wasser. Auch Kanus und Schnorchelausrüstugen standen kostenlos zur Verfügung. Die Lodge ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Reisende sollten aber wissen, dass es überall offene Stellen gibt, sodass die einige Tiere verirren können (Geckos, Kakerlaken). Die Dusche wird über eine Solaranlage betrieben. Stürmt es einige Tage, wie bei uns, gibt es auch kein warmes Wasser. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr nett. Er hat auch organisiert, dass wir mit dem Taxi von der Fähre in die Lodge kamen. Von ihm kann man sich auch ein Auto leihen, was sehr hilfreich war. Ohne Auto ist man dort aufgeschmissen. In allem hatten wir wunderschöne Tage dort.
