Very nice clead and quite area. Hotel is nice and cost effective. Pub belongs to hotel was big advantage , food was amazing.

The rooms are a little tired but clean. Doesn’t have air on but the fan was really good. Shower and bath both in our room, the staff were excellent. Really friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.

There were no available power sockets close to the bed head. The mirror light in the bathroom didn't work. The food was simple enough and well prepared and well enjoyed and reasonable value. Having to order by app from a table and then separately to order drinks which arrived without a glass and having to collect your own cutlery etc was less welcome. Access and parking was good. Noise from hard finished corridors and with gaps around room doors was not good. Not saying that it was bad but overall not up to what I had hoped for.

Spotlessly clean room and a quiet location. Staff were very friendly and helpful in both the reception and the restaurant. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. The bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep with only one interruption from noisy other guest(s) in the corridor. What took it down from five stars is simply that there are some parts of the rooms showing their age, the shower gel dispenser was empty and the tea cups in the room are tiny.

From checkin to leaving the staff were amazing for our 3 night stay. Staff always helpful and always on hand. All other hotel chains do not compare. If you need extra pillows all you need to do is ask.
