This is a good hotel. It is old and kind of dumpy in terms of appearance, but you get what you pay for. And in this case, it gets the job done. The mattress was surprisingly comfortable. And believe it or not, there was DESK SPACE for my laptop. And the internet was surprisingly fast. So I could work. The room was large. The bathroom was also large. Everything was functional and useful, it just was not very aesthetically pleasing. But if you want a good deal on a good room that "gets the job done" then this is a good hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is remarkably delicious and hand prepared by someone there. I would definitely stay here again. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 simply because its unfair to the other hotels that are much more visually appealing. But overall, I liked Hotel Kartagus.

1-Broken bed 2-Extremly dangerous bathroom built on a higher level than the room 3-Sheer curtains that allowed full sun exposure around 5:00am 4-Loud construction noise since 7:00 am 5-Not enough parking
