The hotel wasn’t up to the standard I expected. The bed was uncomfortable and made a lot of noise whenever I moved. The internet connection was poor and didn’t work properly. The toilet was clean, which was a positive, but unfortunately the hotel was also very noisy at night, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, I was disappointed with my stay.

Sadly, the building continues to look a little tired and is in need of some paint and refurbishment. Most of the internal door locks don't work on the stairs, etc. The car park continues to be far too small and be full of cars blocking multiple spaces. The heating did not appear to be on overnight, although it was nice to see earplugs provided, as it was the start of the undergraduate term. Breakfast contained no choices whatsoever as far as food goes, with one solitary pastry left over an hour before the breakfast session was supposed to finish. The cardboard cups provided for tea were little more than thimbles. Could be, and used to be, so much better. Just needs a little bit of attention to detail
