Can't fault the hotel at all. Nice airy rooms, good-sized bathroom as well. Comfortable bed. The place was spotless. It's just a short walk to either the town centre or the harbour/bay.

Great hotel. Very clean with clean towels daily. Breakfast was good and plenty of options. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The room very spacious and included coffe and tea making facilities and a hairdryer. The location is central and only a short walk to the beach. There’s a bus stop 2 minutes walk away and this stop is for buses to most locations including the airport and all trips cost 2 euros. I am looking to return to Malta and this is the hotel I’d choose.

I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.they charged huge money in the excuse of the damaged chair by the rain.. The old armchair placed in front of the balcony door in our room got soaked from the rain. To prevent the room floor from getting wet, we moved it into the bathroom. Throughout the day, no one informed us of any issue. However, when we returned to our room the next night, we found that room it had been locked, they insisted on whether if we don’t charge wet chair they will not open the door and no ability to checking out ! Can you believe that ? They ruined our beautiful Malta holiday we are shocked against this rude attitude The manager,she was extremely rude and disrespectful. She raised her voice at us and claimed she had been waiting for us until late at night. Her attitude was not professional so We have never encountered such an approach in any other hotel. The next day, the chair had already dried, as you can see in the photo, yet they still charged us huge price for this old piece of furniture. Based on their behavior, it seemed like they do this quite often... and also housekeeper and staff enter the room suddenly without knocking the door and in 4 days along only once they cleaned the door no towels changed also .. never recommend

Our stay at Ivy Hotel was unfortunately very disappointing. There is an active construction site directly outside the hotel, and every morning the work started around 7:00 AM. The noise inside our room reached around 60–65 dB, which repeatedly woke us up and completely disrupted our sleep. What makes this worse is that this construction was not mentioned anywhere in the booking information. If we had known there was a construction site operating early every morning, we would never have booked this hotel. We raised the issue both with the hotel and with Hotels.com, but the situation was handled very poorly and no real solution was offered. It was extremely frustrating to have several days of our trip affected like this after paying for what we expected to be a comfortable and relaxing stay. Hotels should clearly inform guests about ongoing construction nearby so travelers can make an informed decision before booking.
