My rating for experience is because of the following. first and foremost, the property itself is beautiful and it is without question five stars! My issue is because of an incident that occurred on property in which I felt the hotel or valet company did nothing to fix my problem. I checked in at the hotel at approximately 3 PM and gave my vehicle Escalade to the valet. Driving from Arizona straight into downtown LA I had no issues or sensors in regards to my tires. The very next morning I checked out proceeded to valet and when they brought my vehicle to me, it had a flat tire. We remove the tire there was no nails or holes. The inside of my rim was cracked, which had to be done by a forced of impact. This cost me $200 to fix with a nearby wheel and tire company. I sat in the underground parking lot for nearly 3 hours in which I did not feel the staff did enough to try to help. All they said was they could not help me because of liability issues. So here I am stranded The best they could do is give me two bottles of water although I fill the parking Manager had a little bit of sympathy. It still was not enough. In my opinion, they should be paying for this and comping my room today. This incident of negligence to my vehicle by one of their staff members cause me to miss a wedding in central California in which we were on our way to. That I am not happy about I will be taking extra measures to try to get reimbursed for this terrible experience.

Dont bring a 16" laptop and expect to fit it into the safe... Dont arrive early (weekdays) and expect to find a place to have lunch or a drink on property before 4pm, and dont be hungry after 10pm. The elevator runaround is real... Some staff were very nice, while others not so much... Although the hotel is lovely, with a sensational view (on a clear day), the overall impression is it's a glorified Holiday Inn. IHG really needs to up their hospitality game and stop letting accountants dictate the customer experience.
