We have stayed at this hotel since starting our annual trips to Ocean City. The view is unparalleled. It is simply breathtaking. We have easy access to the boardwalk as well as our favorite places to eat. Our dog has the time of his life there. Breakfast was good. There was enough variety to enjoy a mix of items each morning. Food was always hot and fresh. The staff is friendly and strives to make our stay as pleasant as possible. On this stay, however, we were disappointed with the lack of cleanliness. In our room, there was a potent smell of wintergreen—like BenGay. There was something green smeared on the wall next to the bed closest to the door that was of questionable origin. We found dog food on the floor under the second bed. The shower looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in some time. The tiles and grout were scaly and grimy and the sliding glass door needed obvious attention. We also noticed areas in and around the elevator that needed attention. There were clumps of dust on the floor near the elevator that were still there when we checked out. Also, the hotel website says rooms are equipped with the ability to Chromecast. Be prepared to ask maintenance to come to your room with an extra remote to set it up. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will likely return, and we hope these issues will turn into improvements. This location deserves no less. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

We chose a city-view room which was in the building across the street from the main building. The room had a great modern feel unlike previous O.C. hotels we had stayed in. It was clean. The bed and its linens were awesome. We enjoyed the room's balcony, mini-fridge, television, and plentiful outlets. The pool on the city side building was great too, albeit small it was nice and warm. There were two other pools across the street. I really liked how the poolside cabinets were filled with plush swim towels. The coffee at breakfast was fantastic and I had my choice of Oat or Almond milk. As are typical at breakfast buffets there was pancakes, cereal, toast, bagels, yogurt, nuts, granola. However, the sausage tasted like hot dogs. It's location is a short block from the boardwalk and a nearby CVS was very convenient. We will definitely stay at Hyatt in OC again when we return. Thanks Hyatt!

We have been coming to Ocean City MD for several years and stayed at other hotels before choosing Hyatt Place this year. We are so glad we choose Hyatt Place. It is by far the best hotel experience we have had in Ocean City. The staff are outstanding and always ready to assist you with your stay to make it a pleasant experience. The hotel is located on the boardwalk and has easy access to the beach and boardwalk. The cleanliness is the best I have seen at any hotel. Trash cans are always clean and kept empty. The breakfast is one of the best I have experienced. A biggest thank you to Hyatt Place and their staff. They all get a 10 out of 10 from us.

Had a great stay at the Hyatt. Conveniently located right on the beach/boardwalk. Had a beautiful view of the ocean which was a free upgrade. Clean, and free breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Highly recommend!
