It was a clean place to sleep. That was about it. The grandeur of the entrance room builds up your expectations, just to let you down with a basic German hotel experience. Not sure what part of this hotel merits its 4-star rating. Also, the view from our window was just of a dirty corner of the hotel.

The hotel is very tired and in need of a refurb. Bed was fairly comfortable, and it's a fairly basic (once upon a time grandiose) hotel. It was very noisy with building work going on when we stayed and super weird noises coming from bathroom vent. There is no AC so rooms get pretty hot. It did the job , but I doubt I'd go back.

Room smelled like an old smokers room, one glass door of the shower was not existing anymore, style in general very oldschool. Not my first choice in future.

Chaotic check-in, first room was behind locked doors due to renovation. Needs four different keycards before it was working. No bar. Standard breakfast.

Received a broken iron board and not straight, was no AC, unable to use iron safe as it was locked Otherwise all good, staffs are helpful
