Our overall experience was okay. We arrived around 2 a.m. extremely tired, but the street noise was so excessive that we only slept around three hours. I live in the centre of a large city myself, so normal city noise is not the issue. The hotel should either warn guests or invest in better soundproofing. The next morning we asked to change rooms and be compensated for the first night. Initially we were told there were no rooms available and were offered a refund for the following night. After accepting and starting to look for another hotel, a room suddenly became available. We had to leave our first room at 12:00 and did not get the new one until around 16:30. As we had a significant amount of cash and no access to a safety box, we could not spend the day at the beach as planned. The new room was much quieter, but unfortunately not properly cleaned. By then we were too tired to complain again. The location is excellent, the hotel is attractive and fresh, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff, however, were a major disappointment. During our two breakfasts, only one staff member greeted us. The others showed very little friendliness or hospitality and we repeatedly felt as though we were in the way when trying to get food or drinks. This is not a budget hotel, so at this price level we expected a much smoother, more professional and more welcoming experience.

Great location, but from our room on the first floor we could hear a lot of traffic noise, which was especially jarring to wake up to in the early morning hours. The bathroom/toilet door within the room is also unusually noisy to open and close, which led to a sub-optimal stay experience. Otherwise largely clean and comfortable room.

Central location - walking distance to everything. Helpful staff gave great recommendations for navigating scores of restaurants and things to do.

Hotel room not kept clean, bathroom drain was not working we had to dry manually with towels , several times we complained they said someone will look in to it, never fixed in two weeks time , Restaurant staff was very rude not hygiene rules were followed, , she was coughing while serving over buffet, breakfast was very basic and water melons, pineapple was mainly off despite of what we spoke and complaining they did not bother to taste and replace with fresh ones! It was Really bad experiences our money wasted and l would never recommend that hotel to anyone!!!!
