This is our second time staying a this property. The first was about 15 years ago on a tour of Italy. We decided to stay again as a ight before boarding a cruise. It was fabulous. The concierge arranged for pick up from the priory on a water taxi. It was an amazing way to enter Venice. This time we used the canal entrance directly from the water to taxi to the hotel. Every question I had prior to our trip, the concierge emailed me back promptly with detailed information. When we arrived the entire staff was very friendly and helpful. All arrangements set up by the hotel were exactly as we had planned. The concierge also recommended a restaurant for dinner which was perfect for us! I would return just to stay at this hotel!! Thank you!!

Wonderful hotel. The only minor thing was the roof top was a smokers retreat at times. More tables less sunbeds may discourage that. Staff were amazing. All of them ❤️ we be will be back

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Saturnia & International. The rooms were very clean, the A/C worked great, the breakfast was wonderful, the location was easily within walking distance to many of the landmarks in Venice, and Jacopo was very helpful in arranging our transportation via water taxi. The only issue we encountered was getting there from the airport. I had booked an Uber van for our group (6 adults and 10 pieces of luggage) thinking it would take us directly to the hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel is only accessible via walkways or water taxi. The Uber driver dropped us off in a parking lot and told us this was as far as he could go. I then checked on Google Maps and it showed a 23 minute walk from the drop off location. There were multiple canal crossings within this route, each with steps leading up and down over the canals. We ended up flagging down a water taxi and taking it to within block of the hotel. Total cost for the Uber and the water taxi was over €250 for our group from the airport to the hotel. Lesson learned - take a water taxi from the airport directly to the hotel.
