Positive: 1. The location was excellent, right in the middle of the city. 2. The photos on the website accurately reflected what you actually get. 3. The hotel had a beautiful, classic design with a charming historic atmosphere. 4. The room included a minibar. Negative: 1. The hotel was not worth more than a 3–3.5-star rating. 2. The cleanliness was very disappointing. When we entered the room, there were still traces of feces around the base of the toilet from the previous guest. This was unacceptable and made us lose confidence in the hotel’s cleaning standards. 3. The bathroom was extremely small. The shower was right next to the toilet, and the shower door was only partially enclosed, so every time you took a shower, the entire bathroom floor and the area around the toilet became soaked. 4. We booked this hotel partly because it advertised air conditioning. However, although it is a 5-star hotel, the air conditioner barely blew any air and provided almost no cooling. We were very uncomfortable because of the heat. 5. The breakfast was very limited, with very few options. It was the most limited breakfast we have experienced at a 5-star hotel and was definitely not worth the price. 6. The hotel lacked facilities and amenities. Apart from one small restaurant/bar—which was also where breakfast was served—there were very few options available.
