young man at desk mornings was extremely helpful when I became unwell he arranged for me to see a doctor and work through medical system 10/10. heating system was very good. location excellent for trains and city transport

We had a good sized room facing the main street and train station. It could be a bit noisy due to the trams running below. The only complaint about the room was the poor lighting. You would struggle to read as it wasn't very bright. One other thing to note is that there was no plug in the bathroom sink. The hotel did a very good buffet breakfast with plenty of choice and the staff were very helpful when we asked for anything. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, thought it was good value and found the hotel location convenient.

We had a room at the back and it was totally quiet. The mattress and pillows were so comfortable and the crisp cotton sheets. Everything was spotless as was the bathroom. The room was not particularly modern, chunky wood furniture, but there was nothing to complain about. We would definitely stay there again. It is opposite the railway station, the bus station beyond that and next to tram lines, so perfect for moving about. Also, the 106 airport bus terminus is a few hundred yards away, easily walkable.

Absolutely incredible building, loved the decor and the feel. The windows blocked out a majority of the noise from the streets and station, leaving only a very quiet rumble when trains would pass. The only downside was the bed, pillows were way too soft - barely stable enough to support a head, and the duvet cover was not closable. TLDR: The room was incredible but the bed is the only improvement

Great location, close to everything; places to eat, transportation, main train station, city center, etc. The only one thing for me was, perhaps due to the location of the room, street noise from being so centrally situated. Otherwise would have been 5 stars.
