The room was ok and we had no problems checking in and staying for the night. However, at check out I was told that my outstanding amount was €55, the receptionist said that he will take €50 from the deposit and then charged additional €5 to the card I used the day before. That was correct and the charge was taken instantly. After a moment I noticed that additional €43 was taken from my card. I went back to ask what the charge was for and I was told that they do not recognise that payment and don’t know why it was taken. I got no help or explanation of what happened. From my side it clearly looked like a fraud so I cancelled the payment. I do not recommend staying at this hotel and will definitely not be returning

We stayed in a twin room. The room was quite small, but it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was spotlessly clean, cozy, and the bathroom and toilet were in excellent condition. It also looked like the rooms had been renovated fairly recently. The only downside was that the room felt quite stuffy, so I would recommend booking a room with air conditioning. However, be aware that the hotel uses a portable air conditioner. While it cools the room, but it is extremely noisy, making it very difficult to sleep. If you are sensitive to noise, don’t forget to bring earplugs. Another thing to keep in mind is the parking. Hotel parking costs €25, but it is effectively charged per night rather than for a full 24-hour period. We arrived at 10:00 p.m. and checked out at 11:00 a.m., and we still had to remove our car by check-out time. Parking spaces are limited, so if the hotel car park is full when you arrive, you’ll need to find parking elsewhere in the city, either on the street or in a public parking garage, where prices are usually much higher. On weekends, street parking in Luxembourg is free, which is useful to know.

Sufficient for what we needed for an overnight stay. Hotel staff was very helpful and agreed to move our room due to its location in a high traffic area. The room was very clean.

The location is amazing, and the views are beautiful. The hotel is in a very old building, but it has a charming atmosphere and a nice, unique vibe. We arrived on my husband’s birthday, and about a month before our stay, I had requested a small birthday arrangement. Although I was told that something would be arranged, unfortunately, nothing happened (when I object they say because we arrive a bit early. but room were already cleaned and ready). When I reminded the staff during our stay, I was told that it was no longer possible because we had already checked into the room. Although it's small, for me mattered and was kind of disappointing, especially since the request had been made well in advance. The room itself was spacious and clean, but I really didn’t enjoy the bathroom setup. The shower has no door, so it feels cold while showering, and the glass partition is not large enough to prevent water from getting all over the floor. Overall, the shower arrangement was uncomfortable and impractical. We also stayed during a heatwave, and the air conditioning was basically a portable add-on unit rather than a built-in system. It struggled with the extreme heat and the room remained quite warm, although I understand that this is partly due to the age of the building. If you are aware that this is an older hotel and are comfortable with its quirks, the rest of the experience is pleasant. The location, views, spacious room, and atmosphere are definitely the highlights.
