Old hotel with narrow rooms, the flushing in the toilet didn’t work and the door was very difficult to lock. The lights in the corridor switched off while walking to the room. Got no support from the staff so that took down the reviewed. The hotel though was very charming and one good though was that the restaurant just outside the hotel had an discount on the food.

Big rooms, comfortable beds, clean, great breakfast bar, hotel has that old style charm but rooms are big and recently updated, no AC and they need to invest in newer more efficient fans, rooms are VERY noisy because hotel sits right under the street trolleys and they run 24/7... Is within walking distance of the main train station in Bern. Staff is friendly and will go out of their way to meet your needs.
