Although outside of old Quebec City, a walkable distance to most sites and many restaurants. We had the best view in the entire city of Château Frontenac and the St. Lawrence River. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Parking was limited, unavailable on a busy weekend, however the valet secured a spot and everything was safe and sound. Highly recommended for the location and comfort offered.

Once we upgraded our room, it was better. However, it should be clearer when booking a room exactly what you are getting. For instance, a standard room is next to an elevator and has no view. Also, there was very limited staff at the front desk, especially at check in time of 5 pm. The other point that should be made clearer is the underground parking. As you enter, there is a sign ‘valet parking only’. Well that is not really the case. Everyone parks in the same garage. It would have saved us some running around if that sign was not there. The hotel could use with more renovations.

Very run down. Mattresses are old and bad. Table lamp control is missing. Bedside lamps don’t work.

I stayed here for two nights from October 2 to October 4. Unfortunately, the room condition was quite disappointing and needs significant improvement. The amenities are outdated, and the sofa was faded and severely worn out. Additionally, there was visible mold in several areas of the bathroom, and the bathtub was damaged but never replaced. The hotel definitely needs better maintenance and upgrades.
