Breakfast was very good. Had some of everything. Biscuits, gravy, potatoes, waffles and all the cereal and such. Lot of history in the building. Rooms were small but roomy. Highly recommend due to the proximity to all the historical sites and Riverwalk.

Staff was amazing. Rooms were a little old and dirty. Trash. Candy and stuff under beds. Paint peeling from walls in bathroom but it is an old building so expected. The staff was great and helped with anything we needed. Parking is a little hard to navigate for expensive for valet

I was on the top floor, the last room in the hallway. The AC vent was right over the bed and exceedingly loud. Consequently, I got hardly any sleep because of how frequently it cycled on. I couldn't turn it up to a higher temperature because otherwise it would have been too warm. Another thing that was annoying was the fact that I could hear the water pipes constantly running overhead. It was as if there was always a hotel guest taking a shower all night. Obviously that's going to happen in a hotel, but why did all the pipes have to go across that one bedroom ceiling?That's what it sounded like, anyway.
