The place looks like an old sanatorium, with halls reminiscent of mental institution horror films. Just the style, designed from a different era. Beyond that the breakfast is carbo laden but acceptable. The proximity to the parks makes it worth all the while. For the price and location I am ok being haunted by psychiatric ward ghosts!

Property has excellent location, very close to Iguassu Falls, so after having an excellent complimentary breakfast, we could arrive to our main destiny in few minutes. They have even a taxi service with reasonable prices at the same hotel, so just need to go to he office in front of front desk and get the service to go to the Iguassu Falls and in our last day, to the airport. Hotel is beautiful in the common areas, like the lobby and restaurant, where we took breakfast and dinner. Food was excellent, breakfast buffet very complete and delicious. The only complain is the rooms. Even if the room were clean as possible for the age of the paint/bathroom/furniture, room really give the sensation that the hotel was unfortunately neglected the rooms, and that the rooms deserved more attention from the owners. I really hope the property gets attention to this because it has many great things for visitors to the Iguassu falls.

Location is great (1 mile from IGU and 10 min from the park entrance) but the hotel needs a lot of maintenance.

Great location and beautiful Property. Not new and luxurious but plenty of charm. The rooms are a bit outdated but we dont mind because we are out all day not spending much time in the rooms. The A/C was nice and cold and the shower once and hot which are the two things I care about most. The pools and hot tube are really nice and there’s a lil path to walk around the property which is perfect for an early morning walk and coffee. Breakfast was yummy with lots of baked goods to choose from and standard hot foods of eggs, sausages, etc. The Iguazu Falls entrance is within walking distance. Right now there is road/sidewalk construction. We still walked but it made it a lil more challenging. Once the construction is done it’ll be fantastic. Overall would definitely stay here again.
