The hotel was effectively a building site. Terrible. No notification was provided in hotels.com about the ongoing work. We had to walk on scaffolding to get to street level. We were woken up every morning to drilling by workers working on the ongoing hotel building work. It’s a complete dereliction of duty to inform visitors of the building work and I will not recommend a stay in this hotel.

Excellent, friendly staff. I couldn't get over the size of the room - particularly compared to the room I stayed in (briefly) in Salamanca. I should stay that there are building works going on at present designed to enhance the entrance to the hotel. Everything was clearly signposted and did not interrupt my stay. The hotel is already very spacious so I can't imagine what it will be like the works have been completed. The hotel is situated about a 15 minute walk from the centre of the city, the tapas bars and restaurants. Very easy to get to as the river will be your guide.

Room was very clean, bed was extremely comfortable. Staff extremely friendly & helpful on arrival & departure. Restaurant food & wine was amazing also.
