No WiFi was a huge disadvantage. Breakfast was descent in terms of variety. The room was cleaned deeply on a daily basis and the towels/sheets were changed

The hotel is undergoing renovations and the halls are a building site with workers, tools, ladders everywhere! Even the lamps on the halls are improvised light bulbs directly connected to the electrical outlets! The room was clean and recently renovated but the nice big flat TV on the wall didn’t even work! The breakfast was really nice though.

Clean room, great staff at the front desk. Room was sapcious enough for me and another guest. Under construction, but so is most of Germany; they observed quiet hours. Breakfast was small but adequate, fruit was fresh.

Receptionist explained in detail that the hotel was being renovated, this was very helpful. The room is nicely decorated all with new amenities.

Avoid at all costs. Although it is centrally located, the hotel is currently in maintenance and refurbishing process. Unfortunately this is not highlighed by expedia or by the hotel on their website or through the communication. We were located in a building 2-3 mins away from reception. Our room cards got disabled everyday, so every night we get back to the hotel after a long day with the kids, we are locked, where I then have to leave them and go 5 mins walk back and forth to reactivate the cards. There was no wifi in our initial room, TV was not working. I escalated this to the staff and asked for room change. During the day, its very noisy with heavy machinery almost impossible to try and relax in the middle of the day. Regarding the staff, I gave them poor rating, although to be fair there was one really helpful lady who was apologetic and changed our room for the last night. But there was one particular male staff member who was extremely rude and dismissive when I told him about the above issues saying “ I have no time for this - speak to someone else” which is extremely unacceptable for someone in a hospitality business.
