We had some difficulty finding the hotel - it is down a largely pedestrianised street with the main entrance down a side street. It wasn’t helped by the fact it was a party night so crowds of people and police around. We finally parked in a public car park (€16 for 24 hours) and walked back to find the hotel. We received a very warm welcome and the staff member recommended several places to eat. The room was comfortable, bed was good ( extra pillows in the wardrobe) snd the walk in shower reasonably powerful. There was a bottle of water in the room which was appreciated. Breakfast, however, was very disappointing. Choices were limited and food was not good quality. It was adequate at best. The hotel is located one block back from the large and clean beach. There is a good walkway along the beach and lots of restaurants and places to sit. The hotel also has a rooftop bar with views over the beach. For us, for a one night stay, it was great. If I were staying longer I would book a room with a sea view and go out to one of the nearby cafes for breakfast.

Room overlooked the beach and we had a balcony. Lovely views. Excellent location on the boardwalk. Excellent rooftop bar. Down side - tiny towels and flimsy

I was pretty disappointed with our four night stay. While the room is nicely done, there are so many amenities missing! Simple things like hair conditioner and a box of tissue as well as a lack of any tea kettle. And the seaside view is a bit misleading because you had the best view of a building, but if you looked sideways, you could see the beach. The street below is also very noisy, late into the night. It is situated pretty nicely for walking, restaurants and shopping. The breakfast area was our biggest disappointment. It is located down in a basement that is dark and very dingy as well as sprinkled with cobwebs. The shining light of this hotel is the staff, we found them very helpful and courteous. Kudos to them!
