Room was nice enough and clean tidy It was a bit overpriced in my mind for what it was but location to a conference event probably drove that Great staff tho!

Quite a bizarre experience that I would NOT recommend. I was woken at 8.50am by the room's phone ringing (which sounded like a fire alarm). On answering the phone, someone at the other end put the phone down! On check out I mentioned it, and was given this bizarre (and frankly unfeasible) explanation: Apparently someone entered the hotel that morning claiming they couldn't remember if they were staying there or not, however they could remember their room number (which was the same as my room) and they also had the same first name as myself! The reception decided to call my room to check if it was occupied and when I answered, instead of saying something they just put the phone down. I've no idea if the story is true, but if so, why did reception not say anything to me when they called? They whole experience is less than satisfactory to put it mildly, and I'd encourage you to avoid this hotel and its odd staff if you'd like a good night's sleep.

The Air conditioner was broken in my room, there was no hot water and the light from the thermostat was broken so it was super bright in the room all night.

Rock hard bed. I had to wrap the duvet around me like a sleeping bag to get comfortable. You also can't adjust the brightness of the TV! So, if you want to watch a film in bed, prepare to be uncomfortable and blinded. Overall, great location and staff were polite and tentative, clean room and updated bathrooms. Just missing some simple comforts which would make it worth the money.

No permanent air conditioning in the room, so a portable unit was plugged in with the vent driving out of the window. At night we had to choose between being really hot (although there was a fan) or being kept awake by the outdoor nightclub next door.
