Apart from the lift issues, hotel was nice, comfortable, breakfast was amazing and location was very good. Spent 2 nights.

Having stayed here several times before, I was looking forward to returning. Unfortunately, this visit was dreadful. At check-in, I was twice assured breakfast was included with my Hotels.com Gold membership. The next morning, I was told to pay. None of the lifts worked throughout my two-night stay. My first room had no natural light, just a sealed window overlooking an indoor bar courtyard. After requesting a change, I was moved to an accessible room opposite the fitness club, with constant noise from early morning. An adjoining door meant I could hear everything from the neighbouring room. The room itself was appalling: peeling wallpaper, a hole in the wall, filthy carpet, a towel rail falling off, and a bedside lamp held together with electrical tape. The bathroom stank of sewage, making sleep difficult, and the shower was at armpit height due to it being for wheelchair users, and the water went all over the bathroom as a result. I can provide photos. On the second day, my room key stopped working, requiring yet another trip up and down the stairs. After being woken early again on Saturday by the fitness club, I tried the sauna, only to discover a £5 entry charge. The lockers also required guests to bring their own padlocks! I left more exhausted than when I arrived. A completely unacceptable experience, especially as a returning guest. I expect a refund and would like management to contact me directly.

The lift was broken so it was a nightmare waiting or using the stairs! Clean, tidy and everything needed - the gym was also great. Would prefer a bottle of water in the room rather than water in the lobby but small feedback

Sadly the hotel was a lot bit disorganised and therefore missed the attention needed. No water given, extremely busy in areas and not advised of events going on. Not the usual service known from Hilton.

I was given a cold, very large room designed for a wheelchair user which I am not. The heater was noisy and the room decor cold and uninviting. I had to insist on a new room. Staff not apologetic about initial room that made me feel very uncomfortable. Breakfast was good and the staff super helpful at breakfast. Hilton Cardiff used to be first rate, but no longer unfortunately.
