This is an old school beach motel. It is shabby but very clean. The owners (sisters?) were so nice. My room was missing the DVD remote and they brought me a new player and hooked it up. My main complaint was the bed: there is a plastic type mattress protector under the fitted sheet and it makes a rustling sound when you move and because the plastic is right under the sheet, the plastic made me sweat. Not a good situation, I loved having a tub and had a hot soak both nights. It was affordable and I’m Seaside that’s saying a lot!

We booked this for the volleyball tournament and it was perfect. Just about a block from the sand made beach access easy and convenient. Parking seemed fine for guests. If you are looking for something fancy and up to date I would say this is not the place but if you need a great location and care more about the location and not being too pricey, this is the place! We stayed at the Holiday Inn in the past which is obviously more up to date, has breakfast, a pool, just a little further from the beach, but we paid almost double to stay there. For our family of 4, this was perfect and will come back again!
