Unfortunately, the worst stay I’ve ever had. The shower was mouldy and covered in grime. When I asked for it to be cleaned, so much bleach was used that I couldn’t stay in my room and had to leave the window and door open to air it out. When I requested a room change, staff were awkward and refused, offering room spray instead! This is the most expensive accommodation I’ve ever paid for, yet the worst experience. There are much better places to stay in Edinburgh. Unfortunately, our usual hotel was fully booked due to this being a last-minute trip. Wouldn’t recommend.

Great location right at the west end of queen street. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with plenty of space and fully appliances in the kitchen area. Next time would probably prefer not to be in the basement at the front of the building with some noise from the main road and people walking by on the street above.

Breakfast was not included, Breakfast was just pastry and carbs, no proteins or other options. Nothing but boxed and processed foods, even the juices. Informed we hadn't paid for the breakfast when we booked so it was not available, Was not even offered to us at an additional cost.

Albinia was very friendly and helpful. Washers and dryers in the rooms were a reason I booked but my room did not have them so I had to used the common laundry on another floor. Air con was nice and location was good.
