The Harding Hotel was great. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean. Centrally located to all the major tourist places. Great pub attached The Darky Kelly Pub with friendly staff ans excellent food.

How to flush the toilets are a bit tricky. We did have to tell the reception that the toilet doesn't flush well and they gave us some tips to do so.

I chose this hotel because of the great location at a good price. I took a city bus from the airport to a bus stop about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel was walking distance to the majority of the sites to see in Dublin and right on one of the main streets in Dublin with tons of shopping and restaurants. The hotel was a true Irish hotel with a lot of charm and character and one of the oldest parts of Dublin. Throwing in the bistro restaurant and the lively bar and pub that was right on the premises made it even more fun. Many passers by would stop in just to hear the Irish music playing every night. My room was bigger than I had expected with tons of storage. It also had a coffee maker, a kettle, and a small refrigerator, which was very helpful. My room was cleaned daily and well stocked. The staff was wonderful, especially Tony and the young man who had a very Irish name that was hard to spell and difficult to pronounce. (I had wrote down his name to remember it, but lost it traveling home.) I had issues with a credit card, the electrical outlets, the air-conditioning, and getting ice from the bar. Both these gentlemen helped me several times making my stay extremely enjoyable. I hated to leave and I would definitely recommend Harding hotel to anyone staying in the Dublin area.

Architecturally interesting layout. Quaint. A bit noisy with a very popular bar adjoining the hotel. Bed was not comfortable but beat the airline seat from the previous night. The receptionist was extremely nice. Very close to Temple Bar area

The property on the floor I stayed was a little dirty. The room was small and not very clean. One good thing is that it has air conditioning.
